Dear Future Students,
Welcome to Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Architecture! Thank you for your interest in our Faculty. Whether you are a prospective or current student, a graduate, a member of our community, or a recruiter interested in hiring our alumni, as Dean, I am eager to get to know you and explore how we can support your interest in our work.
Our Faculty aims to prepare you as future, well-equipped architects and urban planners, supported by accomplished faculty members and staff dedicated to student success. With our undergraduate and graduate programs, we contribute knowledge to the processes of planning and designing the built environment. Through studio environments that serve as experimental laboratories, we provide students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in applying this knowledge.
Education at the Faculty of Architecture helps you focus on your chosen program while becoming part of a larger community that offers opportunities for both individual and collective learning within and across disciplines. Whichever department you join within the Faculty of Architecture, you will experience a disciplined environment enriched with intellectual and cultural diversity. Furthermore, with its emphasis on applied sciences, the Faculty supports you in building the foundational knowledge needed for professional and academic pursuits in understanding, planning, and designing spaces.
Our university stands out with its unique historical, cultural, and social heritage, offering valuable opportunities for observation in the disciplines of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning. As a result, within the Faculty of Architecture, we raise many questions about the future of our spaces and cities, exploring potential answers through the application of existing knowledge, the latest technologies, scientific advancements, methods, and models. As we ask and seek answers to these questions, we look forward to welcoming you to our community and hearing your voice.
