Dear students, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Architecture mobilizes all its resources together with its qualified and experienced staff within the framework of the mission of bringing you into the society as the future’s architects or city planners equipped with the requirements of the contemporary age. The undergraduate programs in our faculty provide you with the knowledge on each stage of the process of production of the built environment, and also allow you to acquire experiences in studios and workshops, which are laboratories for the application of this knowledge.

In this context, in relation to the processes of understanding, planning and designing space, the Faculty of Architecture, with its applied sciences, will provide you with the highest support in the creation of the basic knowledge you need in your both professional and scientific careers. The opportunities offered by our university are not limited to its experienced and qualified staff and its physical-technical infrastructure. Our university also stands out with the unique historical, cultural and social accumulation of its geography that provides a rich observation opportunity for the disciplines of architecture and planning.

During your undergraduate education, this accumulation will serve as a laboratory for you; on the one hand, as an architect or city planner candidate, you will acquire the scientific rules of the discipline you have chosen, on the other hand, you will witness how the realization processes of these rules develop and become unique in a historical and cultural framework. Throughout this process, you will also explore that the departments within our Faculty offer you a lifestyle beyond being a profession and a science field as a discipline. To guide and accompany you in this exploration with our knowledge and experience, and to re-discover again with you even if we have gone through the same processes before, is an integral part of our own discovery processes and lives, which are continuously renewed with you, rather than being a task for us.

We invite you to be a part of these discovery processes with us...
