Faculty of Architecture has been granted legal entity by the Council of Ministers dated 18.04.2001 and numbered 2001/2351 according to the additional article 30 of the Law no. 2809, and it has become a legal entity after its publication in the Official Gazette dated 22.05.2001 and numbered 24409. With the opening of programs within the institutions of higher education, the proposals for the students in the 2018-2019 Academic Year were examined in the General Assembly Meeting of Higher Education dated 17.05.2018 and it was decided in accordance with the related articles and it was deemed appropriate to take the students to the Department of Architecture. The Department of City and Regional Planning has started to accept students as of the Fall Semester of 2019-2020 Academic Year.
Faculty is located on the Kötekli Campus, the main campus of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.
